About the APCRC seminars
I really enjoyed your very well run session last week and found the presentations enjoyable and thought provoking!
The Clinical Audit, Research & Evaluation (CARE) conference and APCRC seminars have been developed to provide an opportunity for staff involved in clinical audit, research and evaluation to showcase their work, present their findings, share their experiences and learn from others.
The APCRC held its Clinical Audit Research and Evaluation (CARE) conference on 1st December 2010 at Eastwood Park Conference Centre. Braving the icy conditions, almost 80 people gathered to hear motivating presentations about the generation of knowledge to better inform practice; to network with other like-minded individuals from across the BNSSG and wider area; and to pick up tips on how to get involved themselves in evaluating day to day practice at all levels in a supported environment.
Feedback from delegates shows that the day was well received. The well-supported and interactive style meant that novices and experts alike felt able to contribute, ask questions and learn from each other. Delegates left feeling enthused to engage in activities from which they can generate robust evidence, on which to base future practice and to deliver better services for patients.
The conference launched a series of quarterly seminars designed to promote the dissemination of audit, research and evaluation findings across BNSSG so that we can all learn from each others’ work. Due to popular demand future seminars will be held every 6 weeks.
