Defining research management

Research management activities cover the wide-ranging support that the R&D team offer to researchers throughout the research process. This ranges from help with seeking funding opportunities, ideas for NHS partners you can work with; signposting to people who can help with your methodological choices and case for support; assistance with costing your grant, ensuring smooth submission of grant applications; and hosting funded grants. We can also help publicise the results and outcomes of your work, with the long term aim of improving patient care.

Our team work hard to make life easier for researchers, to be a source of advice and information, and to encourage high quality research and its dissemination. We aim to provide a service of the highest quality and welcome all feedback on your experience of working with us.
