Evaluation Officer - Research & Development Team Band 6 x 2 posts

The APCRC are the most successful research and development support team in England. We support primary care research, governance and service evaluation across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Groups. Our twin strategic aims are to grow our portfolio of NHS-relevant research through close working with colleagues from local universities and the NHS, while ensuring that high quality service evaluation is routinely considered as part of every commissioning decision.

We are recruiting two Evaluation Officers, primarily to work with the Head of Evaluation but also to contribute to the on-going reputation of the R&D team as a whole. We are looking for two people who are able to demonstrate an excellent level of knowledge in relation to service evaluation in health and social care. The ideal candidates will have experience of providing methodological input to the design of service evaluations, as well as experience of involvement in evaluations at the design, delivery and implementation stages. We need highly motivated, organised individuals with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a very successful and dynamic R&D team.

The post holders will provide specialist advice and guidance in relation to evaluation projects, and will ensure that staff are supported to carry out high quality evaluations. The overall aim of this role is to ensure that robust evaluation underpins all commissioning decisions. To apply for this job please go to NHS jobs or use this link.
